Tom started Artisan Ferments from a love for making kimchi and sauerkraut for himself and his family. After finishing a food and nutrition science degree he realised how important out gut health was and how a poor gut could negatively effect our health and our mood. With a firm belief that everyone should be having some kind of fermented food or drink every day Tom created Artisan Ferments to spread the fermented food love.
Here at Artisan Ferments we believe in good, quality ingredients first. We try and source as local as possible and use traditional techniques to ferment all of our delicious vegetables and sauces.
Whether it’s chopping cabbages or cleaning and labeling jars, the whole family gets involved.
